Casino Berlin – TV-Tower
A second casino in Berlin which is worth a visit, is the casino located directly under the Fernsehturm. This casino is a bit smaller than the Spielbank at Potsdamer Platz but the atmosphere is nice and they offer the same kind of machines and games. This casino has two floors and the upper floor is mainly for playing at the tables (blackjack, poker, roulette). Downstairs you can find all sorts of slot-machines. The entrance is just 1€ and this casino offers cool theme-nights once in a while too. In the winter-months you can easily combine a visit to this place with the Christmas-markets at Alexanderplatz.
Smaller Casino’s
Besides the two larger casino’s above, you can also decide to visit one of the many smaller casino’s in Berlin. In Kreuzberg, Friedrichshain and Neukölln you can find many small private casino’s. Some of them look a bit shabby but others are actually pretty cool. Often you will get free drinks if you gamble enough and the entrance is for free most of the time. Seit dem 27. Juni gibt es in der Spielbank Berlin am Potsdamer Platz wieder Poker. Mit der Wiedereröffnung des Klassischen Spiels konnte auch Poker wieder ins Programm genommen werden – allerdings nur Cash Game an vier Tischen im Sternberg Theater.
Auf der Webseite der Spielbank Berlin heißt es wie folgt:
„Wir freuen uns, Ihnen mitteilen zu können, dass wir ab dem 27. Juni 2020 an den Standorten Potsdamer Platz und Fernsehturm das Spielangebot um das Klassische Spiel erweitern. Selbstverständlich werden wir auch hier sicherstellen, dass die Mindestabstands- und Hygieneregeln eingehalten werden. Daher bitten wir um Verständnis, dass auch mit dieser Erweiterung noch nicht das komplette Klassische Spiel in Betrieb genommen werden kann. Darüber hinaus werden wir ab dem 27. Juni die Anzahl der maximal zulässigen Besucher pro Standort gemäß den Vorgaben der neuen Corona-Verordnung für Berlin erhöhen.
Dies bedeutet folgende Veränderungen für unsere Standorte:
Potsdamer Platz (max. 420 Besucher):
Poker Cash Game (18:00-3:00 Uhr), Ultimate Texas Hold’Em, Black Jack, Roulette, Automatenspiel, TouchBet Roulette
Fernsehturm (max. 106 Besucher):

Bitte beachten Sie, dass beim Klassischen Spiel aufgrund der Einhaltung der Abstandsregeln nur eine begrenzte Zahl an Spielern pro Tisch erlaubt ist.“
Schon seit dem 2. Juni hat das Automatenspiel an den Standorten Potsdamer Platz, Alexanderplatz, Los-Angeles-Platz und Elipse-Spandau wieder geöffnet, nun kommt eingeschränkt das klassische Spiel dazu. Poker wird eben an den vier Tischen angeboten, die Blinds beginnen bei € 2/2. Wann es wieder Pokerturniere geben wird, bleibt weiter offen und ist natürlich auch von der Entwicklung der Corona-Pandemie abhängig.
